Seriously Losing in San Francisco

Hi everyone. Losing weight is hard! That's why so many people can't do it, and when they do, they gain their weight back. I thought I would start this blog to let people know how I've been losing weight in San Francisco. First, I thought about why I hadn't lost weight. Must be doing something wrong! Must be doing everything wrong!

Started exercising. Started walking in SF. Which is great exercise. At first, just 30 minutes a day, then increased to 90 minutes a day. Going up and down hills, esp. up hills!

But...as you know, sometimes exercise can make you hungry. For the first month or so, I didn't think I was losing weight. But now, after a while, I see that I am firmer and slimmer. (I'm too afraid to get on the scale!).

After confronting the exercise, which I now do every day, I started challenging how I could eat less calories. Not easy to do. I also wove in the low carb idea. But not to extreme. But I don't eat pasta and I don't eat rice. Also I cut out desserts and most sugar.

You must really attack the weight monster, on every front. More ideas later! Also folks not too much wine! It has lots of calories and will also make you hungrier!
